The dispute between the two artists occurred outside the school of Julián Figueroa's son, after which both parties presented evidence to the authorities, who determined that the minor should remain in the care of the actress.
Maribel Guardia has made serious allegations regarding Imelda Tuñón. According to reports from Infobae, the actress pointed out that in September 2024 her grandson displayed strange behaviors, alleging that Imelda Tuñón had given the minor sleeping pills. In a statement, Guardia mentioned that on one occasion when Tuñón had not spent the night at home, she found it strange that her grandson had not woken up at his usual time and discovered that he had been given a pill to keep him asleep while they went out partying.
In her own words, Maribel Guardia described the moment she realized the situation: "I went to his room to wake him up, noticing he was drowsy. When I asked him if he felt okay, as I noticed he was having difficulty opening his eyes, which alarmed me and I lifted him out of bed, he told me he was very sleepy, so I insisted on waking him up to which he reacted well and I no longer considered it necessary to take him to the hospital; however, later that same day, I asked him if he had stayed up late and he himself told me that his mom had given him a pill to sleep before going out the night before."
