One day after a tumult broke out between Maribel Guardia and her daughter-in-law, more evidence is emerging against Imelda Tuñón, the widow of Julián Figueroa. In a tweet posted by journalist Carlos Jiménez, it was reported that the Attorney General's office granted custody of the grandson to Maribel Guardia after Imelda tested positive in toxicology tests.
Imelda will be responsible for the minor for a period of ten days while investigations progress. This episode became known following a video that circulated on social media, in which Imelda Tuñón is seen in an alleged state of intoxication and under the effects of some toxic substance.
The Attorney General's office of Mexico City has started an investigation into the case. In the disseminated images, an individual, reportedly a dealer, is seen delivering drugs outside Maribel Guardia's residence. Meanwhile, Imelda Tuñón was seen picking up the narcotics near a religious image, all while her son remained inside the house.
