Weather Update: Cool Temperatures in Mexico

Due to the arrival of cold front number 25 to the north and northeast of Mexico, a cool environment is expected in the State of Mexico and Mexico City. The National Water Commission (Conagua) indicates that clear skies with mist are expected in the morning, and temperatures between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius, with possible frost in high areas.

On the other hand, during the afternoon, partially cloudy to partly cloudy skies are expected, and a warm to mild environment with no chance of rain in both entities. In Mexico City, winds of 10 to 20 kilometers per hour are expected, with gusts of up to 35 kilometers per hour. Temperatures will range between 8 and 26 degrees Celsius. In Toluca, State of Mexico, a minimum of 1 to 3 degrees and a maximum of 22 to 24 degrees are expected.

Regarding the center of the country, partly cloudy skies and no rain are forecasted. In the morning, a cool to cold environment is expected, especially in the mountains of Puebla and Hidalgo with mist present. In the afternoon, a mild and warm environment is anticipated.

Finally, maximum temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees are forecasted in states such as Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero, Morelos, southwestern Puebla, Oaxaca, and Chiapas.
