The confirmation of Jennifer's discovery alive occurred on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 12. The minor was located in Chignautla, in the Sierra Norte of Puebla, along with a 33-year-old man. The Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Disappearance was in charge of locating Jennifer in a joint effort by authorities from Puebla and Baja California.

The 33-year-old man who was with Jennifer was arrested and is believed to have manipulated her to take her with him. According to the teenager's relatives, this man was a coworker of Jennifer Fernanda's father. The girl's parents discovered conversations on Whatsapp indicating the manipulation of the teenager on the day of her disappearance, January 29, when she was summoned at the Tijuana Bus Terminal.

Collaboration between authorities from Puebla and Baja California was crucial for the rescue of Jennifer Fernanda Camacho and the arrest of the man who accompanied her. It is expected that the relevant prosecutor's offices will confirm the version of the manipulation exercised by this individual over the teenager.
