In images shared online, the stagnant dirty water can clearly be seen near the planters on the sidewalk and invading the bike lane. The intense odor caused by the sewage leak has also been noticed by residents of Colonia del Valle.

Both the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City and the Citizen Attention Account of the Benito Juárez Mayor's Office have responded to citizen reports. Furthermore, it is noted that another puddle of dirty water covers a corner, posing a danger to locals and pedestrians due to the passing vehicles that can splash the contaminated liquid.
