
Four young people were injured by gunfire in a bar located in the AgrÃcola Oriental neighborhood, in the Iztacalco borough, during the early hours of Saturday. The young people, aged between 19 and 22, were taken to a nearby hospital where they received medical attention.
According to a statement released by the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC), the events occurred at the intersection of Oriente 245 and Sur 22, where several attendees at the bar were listening to music and consuming alcoholic beverages when multiple gunshots were heard.
Upon receiving reports of the gunfire, SSC officers headed to the location to address the emergency. Upon arrival, they found the four injured young people, who were quickly transported in a blue vehicle to a hospital for medical attention.
The victims had gunshot wounds in various parts of their bodies, although their current health status remains unknown. The area was cordoned off by authorities to preserve the crime scene while the relevant investigations were conducted.
The SSC has initiated an investigation into the incident and has notified the Public Ministry agent to carry out the necessary inquiries. Recording from nearby surveillance cameras is being analyzed to identify those responsible for the attack.
