The Ministry of Welfare has started the registration for the Pension for Persons with Permanent Disability, a financial support aimed at reducing inequality and improving the quality of life for those in this condition.
To complete the process, it is necessary to present the following documentation: Birth certificate, valid official identification, CURP, recent proof of address, contact phone number, and disability certificate, which can be obtained at a government rehabilitation center for a cost of $79 pesos.
An adult assistant is someone of legal age, a family member of the person with permanent disability, whether ascending or descending, spouse, guardian, or caregiver, or a person designated by the beneficiary without kinship. It is important to present the birth certificate and a document proving the relationship with the person with permanent disability.
Interested parties must go to the Ministry of Welfare during the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with the required documentation to complete the process at the information module. In addition to the pension, persons with disabilities can access other financial aid programs provided by the Federal Government.
The pension provides an annual amount of $19,200 pesos, distributed in bimonthly payments of $3,200 pesos. Registration for this program will be available from February 15 to 28 on the official page of the Welfare Program.
This support is aimed at girls, boys, and youths aged 0 to 29 with permanent disabilities, people aged 30 to 64 residing in indigenous or Afro-Mexican communities, and individuals with high or very high degrees of marginalization. It is important to have the requested documentation, including proof of address, valid official identification, and CURP.
