Demand for Justice in Fátima's Case

The case of Fátima Mayté, a 13-year-old student, has generated controversy and concern due to the severe bullying she suffered, which culminated in her falling from the third floor of her school because of her love for K-pop. In response to this situation, the community of fans of this music genre has united to demand justice for her and her family.

Various communities and institutions have drafted a document addressed to the Secretary of Public Education and the President of Mexico to express their protest over the lack of action by school officials, who were aware of the bullying Fátima was facing. The inaction of the school is pointed out despite warnings about the extreme violence the young girl faced since January.

In parallel, news has been reported about Fátima's delicate health condition; she is hospitalized with severe injuries, while her family is going through unimaginable pain and anguish. The urgency to provide support to the student and her loved ones is emphasized, as well as the need to ensure that justice is served and those responsible for this violent act are identified.

On the other hand, a statement was issued in which Fátima's family denies the claims made by Mario Delgado Carrillo, Secretary of Public Education of Mexico, who allegedly tried to distance himself from the case without substantial evidence to support his position. This attitude has been vigorously rejected, considering that Delgado's statements are irresponsible and lead to re-victimization of Fátima and her family.
