Call for PhDs and Master's Programs in Public Health

The School of Public Health in Mexico opens registrations for three PhD programs, five Master's programs, and four specialties in public health. Applications until May 2025.


The National Institute of Public Health (INSP), through its School of Public Health of Mexico (ESPM), has launched a call for its restructured Master's and Doctorate programs for the 2025-2026 period. This call represents a unique opportunity for those who wish to play a key role in the transformation of health systems at the national and international level.

Among the academic programs offered are three Doctorates: in Comprehensive Public Health, in Health Sciences, and in Quality in Health Systems (Virtual). In addition, five Master's programs covering different approaches such as Comprehensive Public Health, Health Sciences, Public Health (Virtual), Clinical Nutrition, and Quality Management of Health Services (Virtual) are offered. Furthermore, four Specializations will be taught in areas such as Community Well-being in Community Health, Preventive Medicine, Quality of Clinical Care, and Epidemiology.

The ESPM, belonging to the National Institute of Public Health, is recognized in Latin America for being a leading institution in training specialists in the field of public health. Its mission is to contribute to social equity and health protection through the generation of knowledge, training of professionals, and participation in the formulation of evidence-based public policies.

The restructured academic programs of the ESPM are noteworthy for offering academic flexibility, an interdisciplinary approach, access to scholarships and funding, as well as the possibility to collaborate with leading public health researchers at the national and international levels.
