Television presenter and host Daniel Bisogno passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 58. The recognized figure in the entertainment world had undergone a liver transplant on September 4, 2024, a high-risk operation that had initially been successful, allowing him to leave the hospital on the 13th of the same month.
Unfortunately, just two days later, Bisogno began to experience complications due to an infection that led him to be admitted and discharged from the hospital several times due to various health complications. His last hospitalization occurred on February 12, 2025, when he suffered multiple organ failure stemming from an infection in the bile ducts, which led him to intensive care and ultimately resulted in his death.
His brother, Álex Bisogno, informed TV Notas magazine that Daniel's vital organs stopped functioning, including the liver, kidneys, and lungs. In addition to being an entertainment figure, Daniel Bisogno also showed interest in sports, especially soccer. Although he did not make open statements about his affiliation with a team, his actions indicated that he sympathized with Club América, having even publicly wagered in support of the Águilas during several soccer matches.
In May 2023, he wagered with his colleague Mónica Castañeda in favor of América in a match against Chivas, but the bet did not go in his favor and he had to buy food for five supporters of the rival team. On another occasion, during the Liga MX final in Clausura 2024, he bet again on his team, América, against La Máquina Cementera, the team for which Castañeda was betting.
With the passing of Daniel Bisogno, the world of entertainment and sports in Mexico loses a popular and multifaceted figure who left a mark in both fields.
