The well-known presenter and actor Daniel Bisogno passed away at the age of 51 after facing various health complications related to a liver transplant he underwent in September 2024.
Bisogno had experienced medical issues since May 2023, when he was diagnosed with esophageal varices, followed by a lung infection and fatty liver, which ultimately resulted in the need for a transplant. During his recovery process, in November 2024, he contracted a bacteria that led to his last hospitalization this month.
His brother Alex Bisogno, previously a host on the show "Al Extremo," shared days ago: "Emotionally, he is sad, we don't see the light at the end of the tunnel, but Daniel wants to live, he has great strength, the doctors told me that for much less than this people pass away and we are with him until the end."
The tragic death of Daniel Bisogno has been mourned by his colleagues. The show "Ventaneando" dedicated a joint message expressing deep sadness for the loss. Journalist Pati Chapoy announced the news of his death, while economist Pedro Sol acknowledged having lived with him through this long ordeal since he fell ill.
Other well-known figures, such as Ricardo Salinas Pliego, owner of TV Azteca, also expressed their condolences. Meanwhile, his colleague Mónica Castañeda, in tears, remembered Bisogno as a dear friend and companion, who will always be remembered for his joy and good humor: "Daniel was fighting, we communicated with him a week ago, he was in high spirits to overcome, for family, his dad, his brothers, and his daughter Michaela; the situation got complicated, he passed away, and we will always remember that 'Muñeco' who made us laugh."
