Valentina Gilabert has undergone a total of 9 different surgeries as a result of the brutal attack she suffered. David Muri, a family friend, revealed that the operations were successful and included procedures on the esophagus, lungs, neck, and hand. The last operation was reconstructive, with the hope that Valentina will regain mobility in that limb.
Valentina's family shared that the young woman has awakened from the induced coma, allowing her to leave the hospital. Chloe Gilabert explained that she no longer needs breathing apparatus and that devices such as the heart catheter have been removed. Despite the improvement, it is noted that leaving the hospital environment involves risks due to possible infections.
Valentina, granddaughter of actor Mario Casillas, has managed to leave the hospital after multiple surgical interventions, including the reconstruction of one of her hands. Maureen Papon, Valentina's mother, emphasized that her recovery has been a miracle, considering the severity of the injuries and the delicate situation in intensive care.
Although Valentina is now home, her mother emphasized that the path to recovery, both physically and mentally, will be long. The young woman herself expressed her gratitude toward those who supported her, from doctors to blood donors, and showed confidence that she will move forward. She acknowledges that she still faces challenges but feels supported by the help she has received.
Regarding the alleged perpetrator of the attack, Marianne 'N', she has been charged with aggravated injuries and is in preventive detention. Investigations are still ongoing, and the importance of rehabilitation and therapies that Valentina will have to undergo to heal completely, not only physically but also emotionally, is highlighted.
