Yesterday, February 21, 2025, Daniel Bisogno, an iconic figure in Mexican television, passed away. Endearingly known as 'El Muñe', Bisogno left an indelible mark on the entertainment world with his controversial style and sometimes scathing comments. He began his career at CEA Televisa and joined TV Azteca in 1997 as part of the program 'Ventaneando', hosted by Pati Chapoy.
During his time on 'Ventaneando', Bisogno gained both followers and detractors due to his attitude and jabs at celebrities in the artistic field. His irreverent and direct style made him a unique figure in Mexican television. However, his health was severely affected in 2023 by liver problems that culminated in a liver transplant in September 2024. Unfortunately, a multi-organ failure resulting from this intervention led to his passing.
The news of Bisogno's death has shocked colleagues and fans, who have expressed their condolences and highlighted his characteristic sense of humor. Ricardo Salinas Pliego, president of TV Azteca, dedicated some heartfelt words to his friend and colleague, fondly remembering Bisogno's trajectory in television. His legacy will live on in the memory of those who knew him and enjoyed his work.
