The death of Daniel Bisogno has left a great void in the entertainment industry. Some colleagues and family members have recalled impactful moments of the host, such as when he spoke about his last interactions with his daughter thinking he would die. Bisogno always expressed that his daughter was one of the most important people in his life, key to staying strong during the health crisis he faced in his last months.
In the last months, Bisogno was constantly hospitalized. After leaving the facilities, he had a conversation with Pati Chapoy, in which he shared what he told his daughter Michaela when he thought he wouldn’t survive. “Come here, chubby, daddy is going into the hospital, but I don’t want you to ever forget that you will never find someone who loved you as much as I have loved you, and that you made me the happiest person in the world, I want you to be happy, to always laugh, to be content.”
During that conversation, Bisogno made it clear that he didn’t want his daughter to be sad about his departure, but rather to remember him with a smile through the work he did in his life. “I want you to have the opportunity to look for all the ridiculous things your dad did, because at some point when you feel sad when you are older, maybe you will laugh and say, my dad is funny. Know that nothing would hurt me more in the world than not seeing you again, not hugging you again.”
