This Monday, February 24, 2025, vehicles with yellow stickers, license plates ending in 5 and 6, and hologram 1 or 2 must remain parked at home in the 18 municipalities surrounding the State of Mexico and the 16 boroughs of Mexico City, following the Hoy No Circula program.
Regarding the possibility of a double Hoy No Circula for this Monday, it is clarified that such a measure will not be applied, as there are no significant problems with ozone particles and the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has not issued an alert for poor air quality. This program is activated only in case of environmental contingency.
The vehicles that are authorized to circulate this day are electric and hybrid cars, those with ecological plates or exempt hologram, as well as those with hologram “00” or “0”. Additionally, health vehicles with a valid credential, ambulances, school and personnel transport, funeral processions, cars for persons with disabilities with the corresponding permit, public passenger and tourism transport vehicles, as well as motorcycles and cars with a valid Tourist Pass can circulate.
On the other hand, cars with red, blue, pink, and green stickers are also authorized to circulate freely on this day.
