The IMSS in Jalisco is celebrating National Families Day by offering various workshops and sports activities in Social Security Centers across four municipalities, promoting health and well-being.

The Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) in Jalisco promotes recreational and sports courses and workshops at the Social Security Centers (CSS) located in four municipalities of the state, as part of the 'National Day of Families' celebrated every first Sunday of March.

Highlighted activities include soccer, basketball, taekwondo, yoga, tocuyito, painting, reading rooms, among others. Additionally, training is provided to help families increase their economic income, such as cooking courses, appliance repair, beauty culture, costume jewelry, and carpentry.

The Social Security Centers (CSS) are operational units of the IMSS that promote health, prevent diseases and accidents, and improve the well-being of beneficiaries and the population in general in Mexico. They are responsible for promoting self-care of physical health, prevention of mental and emotional conditions such as anxiety and depression.

The IMSS CSS in Jalisco are located in Guadalajara, Ciudad Guzmán, Lagos de Moreno, and Ocotlán. Each center offers a wide range of activities and programs aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
