The Command, Control, Computing, Communications and Citizen Contact Center (C5) released a video alerting the population about the mobilization of emergency services that were attending to the fire. So far, no further details have been given about the origin of the fire or if there were any injuries.
Chief Vulcano Cova, from the Heroic Fire Department, received the report of the fire on Monday morning. Firefighters arrived at the scene to assess the situation and keep the public informed. It was reported that the burning cardboard houses had already been controlled.
The Citizen Security Commission Attention Center of the Miguel Hidalgo Mayor's Office (Blindar MH) communicated that it was a fire outbreak on Manuel Dublán Street in the Tacubaya neighborhood. Emergency units such as firefighters and civil protection personnel responded to the incident. Citizens were advised to avoid traveling through the area and to allow emergency vehicles to pass.
