Daniel Bisogno's Battle with Health Issues

Daniel Bisogno, the TV host, faced severe health challenges due to rapid weight fluctuations and other complications. In recent years, his health deteriorated leading to a liver transplant and subsequent hospitalizations. His ex-wife shared insights on how his weight struggles affected his liver.

Daniel Bisogno's Battle with Health Issues

Daniel Bisogno, the famous host of Ventaneando, revealed a year ago in an interview with Pati Chapoy that he had had problems with his weight and wanted to lose some kilos. Bisogno mentioned that since childhood he carried a trauma of being 'the chubby one' and that he had managed to lose weight by visiting a nutritionist, going from 125 to 92 kilos in a short period of time. Although he felt fine with his new appearance, his health was affected after a burglary in his house, which caused him to have an increase in blood glucose.

During a conversation with journalist Matilde Obregón, Daniel Bisogno's ex-wife, Cristina Riva Palacio, mentioned that the host had lost 25 kilos for his wedding but regained them as soon as she became pregnant. According to her testimony, Bisogno and his brother Álex B had the desire to be thin, but their constant weight fluctuations led them to face health problems, such as esophageal varices that resulted in medical complications.

Health experts point out that losing more than 1 kilo per week can be dangerous and can cause muscle weakening, dehydration, gallstones, and other issues. In addition, maintaining restrictive diets that limit fluid intake can increase the risk of cardiovascular and kidney diseases.

Cristina Riva Palacio revealed that the constant ups and downs in Daniel Bisogno's weight, combined with a lack of medical follow-up, negatively impacted his health, leading to a liver transplant and subsequent complications that eventually took him to the hospital a week before his death, caused by a strong bacteria.

In conclusion, the conductor's ex-wife lamented that Bisogno did not take care of his health properly by subjecting his body to drastic changes and not getting regular medical check-ups.
