Today No Circulation: Restrictions in CDMX and Edomex

Since early hours of the morning on this Monday, March 10, 2025, vehicle owners with yellow stickers and license plates ending in 5 and 6 were notified of the obligation to keep their vehicles at home, in accordance with the Hoy No Circula program currently in effect in the 18 municipalities bordering the State of Mexico and the 16 boroughs of Mexico City.

In this regard, authorities confirmed that there would be no double Hoy No Circula for this day, as no significant problems with ozone particles have been reported and the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has not issued an alert for adverse air quality conditions. It is important to remember that this program is activated only in case of environmental contingencies to reduce pollution.

On the other hand, it was reported that electric and hybrid cars, as well as vehicles with ecological license plates or exempt holograms, those carrying the stickers "00" or "0" and special vehicles such as those used by health workers, school transport, funeral processions, funeral services, and people with disabilities holding the Permit to exempt from Hoy No Circula will be able to circulate normally.

Additionally, motorcycles, cars with a valid Tourist Pass or a permit from the Ministry of the Environment, as well as those with red, blue, pink, and green stickers will be able to circulate. In contrast, those vehicles that do not meet the aforementioned specifications must remain in custody during the day in order to contribute to environmental protection.
