The National Water Commission has presented a new tool for citizens to report irregularities in the use of water and the exploitation of water resources. Through the "National Water Complaints" portal, reports and evidence related to the misuse of this vital liquid can be submitted.
Among the situations that can be reported are: the use, benefit, and extraction of national waters without the corresponding concession title, the contamination of national waters by harmful materials and substances, the illegal occupation of national assets managed by Conagua, and damages to hydraulic works such as illegal wells or alterations to infrastructure.
It is important to highlight that each report can detail the facts so that Conagua has the necessary information to initiate investigations and legal procedures. The National Water Commission calls on citizens to report any activity they consider a crime in the use of water.
