The recent statement from 'Ventaneando' expressed: "Rest in peace. We will always honor your memory." Alex Bisogno revealed in an interview on Radio Fórmula the exorbitant amount that Daniel Bisogno owed in the hospital. The former host of 'Al Extremo' shared that part of Daniel's hospital expenses were covered by a medical insurance provided by TV Azteca. This insurance was capped at 10 million pesos and was quickly exhausted due to the high medical bill.
"TV Azteca covered everything. Even two days before Daniel died, Azteca bosses came to the hospital and said: 'Whatever needs to be done, let it be done,'" revealed Alex. This help was crucial since the costs exceeded the insurance coverage, totaling 30 million pesos. Without that support, they would have had to make difficult decisions due to the overwhelming debt.
The news of Daniel Bisogno's passing on Thursday, February 20, shocked Mexico. The cause of his death was complications arising from a liver transplant performed the previous September. The hospital bill proved unaffordable, and TV Azteca's financial intervention was crucial to cover the excessive costs.
"With the deepest sadness, we regret to inform you of a piece of news we never would have wanted to give: our dear Daniel Bisogno has just passed away due to complications that arose after the liver transplant he underwent last September," stated 'Ventaneando' in a message of mourning. Daniel Bisogno remained hospitalized in intensive care until his final days, and his loss has been a blow to the 'Ventaneando' team.
