
Authorities have suspicions about a probable suspect in the femicide of Gilda Guadalupe. According to journalist Carlos Jiménez, the Prosecutor's Office for the Investigation of the Crime of Femicide is investigating the case and suspects who could be responsible for the femicide of Gilda Guadalupe in Tlatelolco.
Gilda Guadalupe was found dead on March 8 inside an abandoned laundry bin in a walkway of the Nonoalco Tlatelolco housing unit, while thousands of women participated in the 8M march in Mexico City. The Investigation Police of the Secretariat of Citizen Security is already working to locate this suspicious individual, of whom no further details have yet been revealed.
After identifying Gilda Guadalupe, journalist Carlos Jiménez revealed details about her disappearance. The 26-year-old woman, a resident of the Cuauhtémoc borough, was reported missing on March 5 by her family, who filed a formal complaint with the Mexico City Attorney General's Office. Gilda left her house that day to meet someone she knew but never returned.
Regarding the investigation, local authorities have not provided further information in this regard, but more details about the case are expected to be released in the coming days.
