On March 8, at the Bisquets Obregón branch located in Azcapotzalco, Óscar Luna, a worker of the restaurant chain, was found dead inside the bread oven used in the establishment. This tragic discovery caused shock among the diners and forced a temporary closure of the restaurant for four hours.

According to initial reports, Bisquets Obregón had communicated that the cause of Óscar Luna's death was a heart attack, and it was not specified that he had been trapped in the bread oven. However, images later revealed by journalist Carlos Jiménez showed the deceased employee inside the oven.

Carlos Jiménez stated that Luna had died due to trauma to the abdomen and chest, indicating that he had been "crushed." Despite these allegations, the restaurant decided to resume its regular operations just four hours after the discovery, welcoming customers again.
