Hoy No Circula Regulations on April 17

Due to the Hoy No Circula program, in 18 municipalities of the State of Mexico and in the 16 boroughs of Mexico City, this Thursday, April 17, all cars with a green sticker, license plate ending in 1 and 2, and that carry hologram 1 or 2, must remain parked at home.

Regarding the possibility of a double Hoy No Circula this Thursday, the answer is negative. The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has not alerted about poor air quality conditions nor has it activated the environmental contingency, as ozone particles do not currently pose a problem.

It is important to remember that the double Hoy No Circula program is only applied in cases of environmental contingency to reduce air pollution. Therefore, vehicles that will be able to circulate this Thursday, April 17, include electric and hybrid cars, as well as those with an ecological license plate or exempt hologram type.

Additionally, vehicles with hologram "00" or "0," private cars of health sector workers, school and staff transport, vehicles for funerals, cars for people with disabilities, public passenger transportation vehicles and tourism, motorcycles with a valid Tourist Pass, as well as cars with pink, blue, yellow, and red stickers will be able to circulate.
