In Calzada del Hueso, Coyoacán municipality, a motorcyclist tragically died after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into the rear of a minibus on Route 94. Despite the quick arrival of an ambulance, paramedics confirmed at the scene of the accident that the motorcyclist had already passed away.
The fatal accident, which took place in front of the Novo Coapa Hotel, did not involve passengers from the public transport, who emerged unharmed. The body of the motorcyclist lay on the pavement awaiting emergency services. Images of the incident circulated on social media, showing the severity of the crash and its tragic outcome.
The area was cordoned off by authorities to preserve the accident scene. The motorcycle was partially underneath the minibus, which suffered considerable damage to the left side of the rear. According to initial reports, the motorcyclist was allegedly speeding, which triggered the fatal collision.
Although a rapid response was deployed by emergency services, unfortunately, the motorcyclist showed no vital signs when attended to. Witnesses of the accident alerted the authorities after hearing the loud crash, describing the scene as shocking.
