Lamentable Drowning in Juárez During Holy Week

During Holy Week, despite the efforts of municipal and state authorities to achieve a clean slate, two people lost their lives due to drowning in different incidents on Friday. The first case took place in the Los Valles neighborhood of Juárez, where a 2-year-old boy was found unconscious in a pool. Despite being rushed to IMSS Clinic 68, his death was unfortunately confirmed. The minor, identified as Jeyden Andrei Padilla, resided in the same neighborhood.

In another incident at night, a second drowning death was reported in the Hacienda Tulipanes neighborhood, also in Juárez. Civil Protection reported that they received a call about a man drowning in a pool, and despite providing instructions for CPR maneuvers, the paramedics who arrived at the scene confirmed the absence of vital signs in the person. The victim, Perfecto Marín Camacho Granados, 76 years old, was accompanied by Cristina Sánchez Rodríguez.

The State Civil Protection announced that a preliminary report for the first week of vacation will be issued this Sunday, which will include information on accidents, injuries, and fatalities.
