The Network of Justice Centers for Women (Red CJM Jalisco) and the State Institute for the Education of Youth and Adults (Ineejad) have signed a cooperation agreement with the purpose of combating educational lag and strengthening the autonomy of women victims of gender violence, as well as their sons and daughters.
According to Sofía García Mosqueda, coordinator of the Red CJM Jalisco, and Miguel Ángel Ibarra Flores, general director of Ineejad, education is fundamental to change lives. García Mosqueda emphasized that this agreement will provide new opportunities for women, helping them to build a new life project.
The Red CJM Jalisco will be responsible for identifying and channeling interested parties, ensuring specialized support and providing suitable spaces in the centers to carry out educational activities. For its part, Ineejad will provide free teaching materials and conduct diagnostic exams to validate prior knowledge, as well as training sessions.
This agreement not only expands educational opportunities for women in situations of violence but also promotes the reconstruction of their life projects, placing education as an essential tool for their empowerment and autonomy.
Users of the Red CJM Jalisco over 15 years old who have not completed their primary or secondary studies can be part of this program. They should go to the Empowerment Office of the Justice Centers to learn about planned dates and activities.
For the children of users of the Red CJM, various supports are offered to complete their studies, which can be consulted at the same office of the Justice Centers.
