Additionally, she revealed that she had been physically assaulted on more than one occasion, even being hospitalized: "That person was very violent, increasing his aggression since Octavio's death. I can say he went out for tortillas and never came back. Now, as a dependent woman, it is extremely difficult for me to support myself. Octavio Ocaña's parents made the decision to go their separate ways due to infidelity that led to the destruction of their 34-year marriage. Octavio's mother, Ana Lucía, mentioned in an interview that she fought for more than a year for her marriage, revealing the infidelity she suffered.

On October 29, 2021, Octavio Ocaña was murdered in the State of Mexico. After investigations, Leonardo ‘N’ was found guilty of abuse of power and intentional homicide, sentencing him to 20 years and nine months in prison, as well as to pay 17 million pesos in damages. On the other hand, Gerardo ‘N’ is currently on the run from justice.
