The communication and attention from the National Institute for Older Adults (Inapam) have been questioned by some citizens who have been affected by the suspension in various modules for issuing credentials to seniors over 60 years old. This is the case of Johnattan Herrera, Francisco Javier Palomares, Alejandro Jiménez, and Mariam Méndez, who expressed their discontent over the lack of clear information from the institution.
Johnattan Herrera, outside the module located in Parque de la Bombilla, in Álvaro Obregón, mentioned: "They should inform on their website or social media, but their communication and attention are terrible." On the other hand, Francisco Javier Palomares, in front of the module at Parque Leona Vicario, in Tlalpan, expressed his frustration at being unable to process his credential due to the lack of tickets.
At various points in Mexico City, such as the module on Avenida Universidad 150 in Narvarte and in the Venustiano Carranza borough, users have encountered the same issues. Mariam Méndez, at Norte 172, corner Río Consulado, expressed her annoyance by mentioning that they have been without credential availability for months and that the contact phones never answer.
The president of the DIF in Carmen, Rosemarie Lazarus Jaber, informed that due to the lack of availability of plastics, there is a delay of approximately two months in the delivery of Inapam cards, affecting hundreds of people seeking to access benefits for discounts on medications. She explained that this delay is due to changes in federal administration and asked for patience from those affected.
At the central headquarters of Inapam in Narvarte, it was confirmed that there is a delay in the delivery of credentials, attributed to high demand for renewals. It was highlighted that, despite official announcements, the credentials remain temporarily withheld. Users have expressed their frustration over the lack of clear information and the difficulty in contacting the institution for details about the situation.
