
The Secretariat of Welfare in Jalisco has launched a call directed at doctors, nurses, and paramedics to participate in the Health Home by Home program. Katia Meave Ferniza, delegate of the Social Programs of the Government of Mexico in Jalisco, announced that they plan to hire more than 800 health professionals, both women and men, to work in the 125 municipalities of Jalisco starting in February. Their work will consist of conducting personalized and periodic visits to the elderly and people with disabilities, delivering health cards, providing primary care at home, health follow-up, and coordinating with other levels of medical care.
Ferniza stated: "We have started the process of identifying nurses, medical personnel, and health professionals who will be part of the new Health Home by Home program. We are identifying all health professionals who want to join this work team." The hiring process will take place from October 21 to November 15, with the reception of documents at the welfare modules throughout the region. More information can be found at engob.mx/bienestar.
It is expected that the hired health personnel will reside near the assigned area and a monthly salary will be offered, including allowances. Ferniza mentioned: "We expect an income of 17 thousand pesos, including allowances, as in some cases they will have to travel, this will be starting next year." The requirements to apply include having a degree in medicine, nursing, or other health areas, presenting a valid official ID, CURP, proof of the highest level of education attained, and completing a hiring application form that will be submitted at the relevant modules.
