Inauguration of the XVI National Congress of Medicine

The XVI National and VIII International Congress organized by the Medical Society was inaugurated at the National Medical Center '20 de Noviembre' in honor of Doctor's Day.


On October 22, the XVI National Congress and VIII International Congress organized by the Medical Society of this institution was held at the auditorium of the National Medical Center '20 de Noviembre' to commemorate the upcoming 'Doctor's Day.' Doctors of various nationalities, as well as residents, nurses, students, executives, and distinguished guests gathered at the center's plaza to pay tribute to the National Flag accompanied by the military band.

As part of this event, a brief but emotional ceremony was conducted in anticipation of 'Doctor's Day.' Dr. Macarena Montoya Olvera, Secretary of Health of the State of Mexico, along with Director Dr. Sandra Muñoz López, inaugurated the congress, marking the beginning of an intense workday. Attendees enjoyed the energetic and captivating participation of the Marina Secretary's Mariachi, which encouraged everyone to enthusiastically engage in the extensive academic program.

The President of the Medical Society of the National Medical Center, Lecsy Macedo Calvillo, was also present at the event and emphasized the importance of these meetings for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among health professionals. In the words of Dr. Calvillo, 'Events like this congress strengthen our work and commitment to excellence in medical care, driving innovations and constant improvements for the benefit of our patients.'
