The Hoy No Circula program will be in effect this Friday, October 25, in the State of Mexico and the 16 municipalities of Mexico City. Vehicles with blue stickers, license plate endings 9 and 0, and holograms 1 and 2 must remain at home during this day.
The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis confirmed that there will be no double Hoy No Circula on Friday, as air quality remained 'good' on Thursday. Environmental contingencies are declared only when necessary, to reduce pollutant particles in the air.
Cars that will be allowed to circulate this Friday include electric, hybrid vehicles, those with ecological plates or exempt holograms, as well as those with hologram "00" or "0". Vehicles for health services, school transport, funeral processions, funeral services, people with disabilities, public transport, and motorcycles with specific permits will also be allowed to circulate.
In summary, during this Friday's Hoy No Circula, vehicle owners with blue stickers and certain license plate endings are advised to stay at home, while those with special holograms, public transport vehicles, and certain exceptions will be permitted to circulate.
