
On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 13, 2024, a severe crash occurred involving a man driving a sports car on the Mexico-Pachuca highway. The driver lost control of the luxury vehicle, crashing into a parked cargo truck and leaving a young woman trapped who was traveling as a co-pilot.
Eyewitnesses stated that the driver was speeding, exceeding 200 km/h, when the accident occurred at kilometer 71+500 of the Federal Mexico-Pachuca road heading towards Mexico City. The Audi sports car, with license plates HMT-671-D from the State of Hidalgo, caught fire after the collision, with both the deceased young driver and the trapped young woman inside, identified as Hanna Madai V.Z., 19 years old, who, according to the authorities, was pregnant.
The incident took place in the municipality of San Pedro Huaquilpan, in front of a Shell gas station, whose staff came to the scene to assist the victims. The pregnant young woman was trapped among the metal wreckage of the destroyed vehicle, while firefighters and police authorities worked to rescue her from the accident scene.
The Municipal Police and the National Guard intervened in the situation, attempting to communicate with the conscious young woman trapped in the sports car. Eyewitnesses recounted the violence of the crash, emphasizing the recklessness in the driving of the sports car driver that triggered the tragic incident.
