The first mega bridge of November will be marked by a sharp drop in temperature, strong to very strong winds, rain, and showers in different regions of Mexico, as reported by the National Water Commission (Conagua).
The adverse weather conditions are a result of the arrival of meteorological phenomena such as the first winter storm of the season and cold front number 10, which will initially affect the northwest and then move towards the north of the country.
On the other hand, the center of tropical storm Sara is moving towards the south of the Yucatan Peninsula, which will cause heavy to locally intense rains in that area and in the southeast of the country. Meanwhile, cold front number 9 will remain stationary over the Gulf of Mexico, altering temperatures in the northeast, east, and center of Mexico.
Regarding the weather forecast for the weekend in Mexico, Conagua anticipates very heavy rains in Chiapas, Campeche, and Quintana Roo, heavy rains in Tabasco and Yucatan, and intervals of showers in various entities of the country. Additionally, high temperatures are expected in some areas, with maximums of 35 to 40 degrees Celsius in several states, and low temperatures in mountainous areas with values of up to -10 degrees Celsius.
In Mexico City, scattered clouds are expected in the morning and cold conditions in high areas of the State of Mexico, while in the afternoon a mild to warm environment, partly cloudy skies, and no rain are anticipated in the capital. Temperatures will range from 8 to 25 degrees Celsius.
