Recently, Alexa Hoffman shared a video expressing her opinion about the reduction of her father's and abuser's sentence. In her words, she made it clear that she does not wish for her dad's freedom, given the fear he instills in her and the irreparable damage he has caused her since she was little. Alexa's fear centers around the possible actions her father, Héctor Parra, could take once released, given the significant amount of support he has received.
"I do not want his freedom, I do not want my father's freedom because I am truly terrified of him, and the damage he has done to me cannot be quantified; I cannot put a price on what was done to me as a child and that continues to be done to me," declared Alexa Hoffman.
Daniela Parra, Alexa's older half-sister and a staunch defender of Héctor Parra, has yet to issue direct comments on her sister's statements. Daniela has been supportive of her father, countering every claim made by Alexa and largely labeling her a liar. Through her actions, Daniela has shown her support for her father and has publicly advocated for laws that could benefit his situation, even though they could harm other potential victims.
So far, Daniela Parra has not addressed Alexa Hoffman's statements directly. However, some users perceive a degree of victimization in Daniela's posts, interpreting them as an attempt to divert attention or undermine the credibility of her sister's statements. On social media, the veracity of Daniela's claims has been questioned, especially due to previous cases where she lied about favorable legal situations that ultimately turned out to be the opposite.
Despite the circumstances, Daniela Parra thanked her boyfriend, Diego Hopster, through an Instagram story, for always being by her side in difficult times.
