A diverse group of politicians, including well-known names such as Gustavo Madero, Mariclaire Acosta, and Guadalupe Acosta Naranjo, along with new faces represented by young people in their 30s, has made an effort to establish an effective check on the current government.

At a recent event, concern was highlighted over the current situation where a landlord not receiving rent finds themselves with the law and judges against them. This sentiment was expressed by a member of the National Action Party, who urged people to "Enjoy what was voted."

Morena, the ruling party, has presented an ambitious agenda for its second ordinary session period, which will take place from February to April. This plan includes the presentation of 73 new laws, reflecting a wide range of legislative proposals.

Morena deputy Alfonso Ramírez Cuéllar mentioned that meetings have been held with various sectors, such as bankers, developers, and unions, to incorporate their concerns into the proposals. Approval of these laws is expected to be achieved unanimously, despite criticism and precautions expressed by opposition members.

One of the topics that has generated controversy is the reform of the Infonavit Law, which seeks to obtain consensus from all involved sectors, from workers to business owners. Despite criticisms from certain political parties, Morena celebrates the progress in this reform and hopes for its successful implementation.
