The renowned actress Maribel Guardia has resigned from her participation in the play 'Lagunilla Mi Barrio'. This decision came after an altercation at the school where the actress's grandson, José Julián, son of Imelda Tuñón and grandson of Julián Figueroa, studies.

After going to the school due to a report of abandonment made by Maribel Guardia, the Attorney General's Office became involved, resulting in a confrontation between Maribel and José Julián's mother. Despite attempts from other relatives to obtain temporary custody of the child, no one could demonstrate financial solvency, so the authorities decided that Maribel would take charge of the child.

However, to care for the little one, Maribel Guardia had to resign from all her work commitments, including her participation in 'Lagunilla Mi Barrio'. The producer of the play, Alejandro Gou, confirmed that the actress will leave the project indefinitely to attend to this family situation.

Entertainment commentator Álex Kaffie contacted the producer to obtain more details about who would replace Maribel in the play, and it was confirmed that Lourdes Munguía will be the actress to replace her indefinitely in 'Lagunilla Mi Barrio'.
