Last Saturday morning, in the municipality of Corregidora, the membership and credentialing campaign of Morena began in Querétaro. Gisela Sánchez Díaz de León, president of the state Executive Committee, confirmed the start of this initiative.
"The territorial coordinators will begin to visit each home to invite the population to join this movement," Sánchez explained, mentioning that the coordinators will carry the party uniform and their identification credentials.
The national goal is to achieve more than 10 million memberships, but in Querétaro, the aim is to reach over 100,000 new members, which would represent a significant increase compared to the just over 21,000 current members.
Sánchez highlighted that the membership brigades are composed of 15 to 20 people, but that on non-working days or weekends, social representatives can join the effort.
The campaign is proposed as a fundamental effort to strengthen the local structure of Morena in Querétaro, in light of the political and electoral challenges that the party will face in the coming years.
