On the morning of this Sunday, residents of the community of San Buenaventura Tecalzingo, in San Martín, who were headed to the polling stations to cast their vote, found that they were closed, without knowing the reasons initially. Later, it was reported that the suspension of the plebiscites was due to printing errors on the ballots, so the election for auxiliary president was rescheduled for February 2.
In Guadalupe Zaragoza, there was also reported dissatisfaction due to the change of polling place. On the other hand, more than 20 communities in the region will choose their authorities through the system of usos y costumbres.
In San Mateo Tlaixpan, Tecamachalco, supporters of three candidates for auxiliary president prevented the installation of polling stations, alleging alleged irregularities in the process.
This Sunday, Puebla is experiencing an intense electoral day, with the conduct of plebiscites to elect the presidents of the 659 auxiliary boards distributed across 172 municipalities in the state.
