Violent Home Invasion in Mexico City Ends in Death

After a violent assault in a home in the Jardines del Pedregal neighborhood in the Álvaro Obregón borough, a security perimeter was established to capture those responsible. Thanks to investigative efforts, authorities arrested two individuals traveling in a royal blue vehicle on Del Recreo Avenue, Gabriel Ramos Millán neighborhood, Iztacalco borough. The detainees were found with six firearms, magazines, cartridges, drug doses, and other items.

Investigations are ongoing in collaboration with the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City to identify all those involved in the crime. The head of SSC-CDMX, Pablo Vázquez Camacho, emphasized the authorities' determination to ensure citizens' safety and clarify the case.

Regarding the fatal victim of the assault, who according to unofficial reports would be the executive director of a record company focused on urban genre artists, authorities have not yet confirmed his identity. Residents of Jardines del Pedregal have expressed their concern over the increasing violence in the area and have demanded more patrols and security measures to prevent situations like this from happening again.

At the incident site, a woman reported that during the early morning, several individuals entered her home, threatened her and her husband, stole valuable items and jewelry, and forced them to open a safe where they kept cash. The tragic outcome of the assault has generated consternation in the local community, with SSC-CDMX confirming the arrest of two suspects in the crime, one of whom shot the victim inside the residence located on the streets Cascada and Paseos del Pedregal.
