Pedro Sola Critiques Deportations of Migrants

The well-known television host Pedro Sola has once again sparked controversy with his opinions. A few months ago, he mentioned the issue of the Pension del Bienestar received by some famous personalities, such as Poncho de Nigris's mother or Carlos Bonavides, expressing that he considered this social program as "charity." This generated controversy at the time, just like his criticism of the reform to Infonavit last December, relating it to the pensions granted by the government.

In a recent post, Pedro Sola urged someone to resign, sharing the opinion of communicator Chumel Torres regarding statements made by Governor Rubén Rocha. Sola has also commented on other social issues, such as the problem of Chinese products in Izazaga and, more recently, has focused on the deportation of Mexican and Latin American migrants carried out by the United States under Donald Trump's administration.

Through his profile on X, Pedro Sola referred to the mass deportations ordered by Trump, questioning the fate of all those people and whether the Mexican government was prepared to receive the deportees. He anticipated challenging times ahead due to this international situation. Although he has not written directly about the issue, Sola has shared third-party opinions regarding the management of Sinaloa's governor, Rubén Rocha Moya, amid the violence experienced in the region.

Among those opinions, the criticism from stage director Raúl Quintanilla stands out, who believes that Rocha Moya lacks the necessary qualities to govern, especially in a state like Sinaloa, marked by confrontations between drug cartels. Sola, known for his controversial interventions, seems unreserved in addressing sensitive issues from his platform in the media.
