The Mayor of Escobedo, Andrés Mijes, met with the new Commissioner of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection in Nuevo León, Omar Escobar Figueroa, to exchange points of view on the actions, initiatives, and programs that have allowed Escobedo to be an example in security matters.
The mayor explained to Escobar Figueroa that the strategies of the 4T Norteña regarding Civic Justice, investment in technology, and the philosophy of 'caring for those who care for us' guarantee the protection of citizens in the State and can be replicated in various municipalities across the Country.
"The Virtual simulators for the training of personnel and the area of Research and Analysis," mentioned the Mayor after the meeting.
Through new technologies and intelligence work used for the protection of communities, Escobedo is ready to collaborate with the Federation and reinforce the strategies that the Commissioner seeks to implement, Mijes stated.
The mayor highlighted that Escobar also learned about the work that the Municipality is doing in terms of rebuilding the social fabric and creating harmony through social policy, and in giving people the confidence that the benefits of economic growth are distributed fairly within the community.
Mijes added that the government model known as 4T Norteña understands that collaboration is the foundation that will make the security policy required by the Country a reality for achieving the shared well-being proposed by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo in the Mexico Plan.
"We invited the new Commissioner and showed him how Proxpol operates and functions, as well as the areas of Civic Justice and Traffic Justice that have been implemented since 2017," the Mayor concluded. "Those who work seriously for security will bet everything on collaboration and the sum of efforts."
