The coordinator of the PAN in the local Congress, Carlos de la Fuente, has expressed the need to negotiate with Governor Samuel García regarding the situation of public works in Nuevo León. It is estimated that more than 10,000 million pesos have been invested in these projects, and De la Fuente considers it irresponsible to abandon them.
In this regard, a dialogue has begun with the coordinator of Movimiento Ciudadano, Miguel Flores, to address issues such as the allocation of resources to autonomous agencies in exchange for reducing debts. De la Fuente has emphasized the importance of avoiding leaving projects unfinished, especially those causing traffic problems for citizens.
According to De la Fuente, the governor is facing a budgetary crisis due to the lack of executive projects for initiated works, such as the Metro Lines. This situation has led to the consideration of renegotiating the debt or this year's budget with the executive.
On the other hand, the Morena caucus has joined the negotiations in a limited way, while the PRI has sought to engage in dialogue with the governor to ensure responsible management of state resources. An organized and coordinated front is being sought to achieve concrete results for the benefit of Nuevo León.
Regarding the funding that the governor seeks from the Private Industry, De la Fuente has pointed out that this option could turn out to be less beneficial in the long term compared to other more traditional alternatives, such as Banking. The feasibility of these proposals is being thoroughly evaluated to avoid future financial complications.
