The Secretary of National Defense (SEDENA), General Ricardo Trevilla Trejo, and the Superior Auditor of the Federation, David Colmenares Páramo, signed lines of action in the area of Superior Audit. In the working meeting, the heads agreed to establish a permanent working table to maintain the interagency communication channel and thus promote and expedite the exchange of information for the corresponding auditing work for the 2024 and 2025 Public Accounts.

The agreement includes various stages that involve planning, development, integration of results reports, and monitoring of actions promoted by the ASF and SEDENA in the auditing of the mentioned Public Accounts. The collaboration between SEDENA and the ASF aims to foster and optimize the exchange of information for greater transparency and supervision of the use of public resources, as well as promote compliance strategies and highlight the importance of collaboration and joint work between both institutions.

If necessary, the ASF commits to provide training in auditing matters to the staff of the Secretariat. According to General Ricardo Trevilla Trejo, this agreement will strengthen accountability and transparency in the use of public resources, in addition to contributing to improving the efficiency of SEDENA's auditing tasks.

The Superior Auditor of the Federation, David Colmenares Páramo, stated that this agreement will allow for more effective supervision and more rigorous auditing, in line with the principles of transparency and legality governing the management of public resources.
