Criticism of Morena's Government in Mexico

The leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Alejandro Moreno, harshly criticized the Morena government, calling it incompetent and responsible for the security, humanitarian, and migration crisis in Mexico. Moreno emphasized the lack of experience, capacity, and cooperation in the current cabinet, pointing out that they are completely overwhelmed and without a clear strategy.

According to Moreno, the lack of compliance with democratic clauses is affecting free trade agreements and regional integration. The president of the PRI warned that the Morena government, which arose from a state election, has undermined the Constitution and usurped the Congress of the Union, contributing to the current crisis.

In a video posted on social media, Alejandro Moreno rejected the tariff measures imposed by the U.S. on Mexico, attributing them to the negligence and complicity of the Mexican government in security and drug trafficking issues. Moreno questioned the government's ability to understand and address the relationship with the United States effectively, denouncing improvised and erratic actions.

The PRI leader stated that his party will not support authoritarian decisions or decisions that jeopardize national security, criticizing the alleged protection and alliances of the Morena government with criminal organizations. Moreno warned about the adverse and devastating consequences that the tariffs could have for Mexicans, describing the actions of the Morena government as a danger to the region's security.
