According to the testimony of the former head of the Institute of Educational Spaces, J.J.J.R., Duarte de Ochoa instructed him to acquire an apartment and a Land Rover for Tress Rodríguez, part of the diversion of resources from the former governor's administration. Tress Rodríguez was appointed by Javier Duarte to head the Directorate of Educational Spaces, although she was removed from the position after a few months, presumably by orders of Karime Macías Tubilla, Duarte's wife.
A supposed relationship between Rodríguez and the widow of PANist Gregorio Barradas Miravete was revealed. Elements of the ministerial police of Veracruz arrested her to comply with an arrest warrant issued by a state judge under the alleged charge of illicit enrichment. The former official is expected to be transferred to Veracruz in the coming hours.
