Clara Brugada Announces Special Security Operation in Mixquic

The head of government, Clara Brugada, addressed the people of Mixquic to assure them that they are not alone. Following the shooting in San Andrés Mixquic that claimed the lives of five people nearly a week ago, a special operation was announced for the area. This operation will feature a security base reinforced by elements of the Army, the Navy, and the National Guard.

In a meeting where local residents demanded greater security, Brugada mentioned the presence of the entire Security and Peace Cabinet, noting that an early session had taken place in the town's library. During the assembly, the demands of the population were heard as they sought to build territories of peace, security, and justice. A visibly affected woman requested the creation of a 'Mixquic Law' to prevent the re-victimization of the innocent.

The area turned into a bunker with the presence of local and federal security forces, creating an atmosphere of intimidation among the event attendees. In the midst of Brugada's intervention, Mrs. Iveth Ramírez, mother of one of the victims, called for justice for her son and nephew, both deceased in the attack. In tears, she pointed out that her son was a worker and denied any links to criminal activities.

Meanwhile, in Brugada's speech, the woman asked for justice not out of pity, but to bring peace to her son and nephew, making an appeal to the head of government and all present at the meeting.
