Its goal is to implement a multimodal logistics platform for the welfare and development of the region. Line K, the longest of the project, shows 65 percent progress and is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2026, connecting Ixtepec, Oaxaca, with Ciudad Hidalgo, Chiapas.
Regarding Netflix's investment in Mexico, Sheinbaum indicated that more details about this important investment will be provided soon. The announcement follows statements from the president of Banco Santander regarding a confirmed investment in Mexico of 42 billion pesos.
On another note, the head of Sedena explained a collaboration project between the Ministry of Health and Cofepris to trace the route of chemical substances used to produce synthetic drugs, with the aim of detecting possible diversions and ensuring the legal use of chemical precursors. This strategy seeks to track the products from their arrival to their distribution for the production of synthetic drugs.
