Controversy in Mexico City over Legal Complaint

In a recent interview on the show "Por la mañana" with Ciro Gómez Leyva, journalist Carlos Jiménez, known as C4, spoke about the complaint filed by the Investigation Prosecutor of Sexual Crimes in Mexico City, Ana Casillas Hurtazo. According to Jiménez, a hearing related to this complaint will take place on February 20, which has generated controversy in recent days.

The complaint arose after a conflict between Jiménez and the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City. In January of this year, the journalist used his social media to expose what he considered to be mismanagement by Prosecutor Casillas Hurtazo. Jiménez claimed that the prosecutor's office was trying to arrest him for publicizing alleged negligence and mistreatment of victims attended by Casillas in her area.

Jiménez explained that in his posts he only wanted to show how the capital prosecutor's office was neglecting and mistreating victims of sexual crimes, something that, according to him, upset Casillas. During his appearance on Ciro Gómez Leyva's program, the journalist emphasized that he had never exchanged direct messages with the prosecutor nor threatened her, despite the accusations against him.

"I have never had an exchange of messages with her, and much less have I threatened her," Jiménez declared firmly.
