Alejandro Murat highlighted achievements in the Senate, including the approval of constitutional reforms in security to provide greater certainty and peace of mind to Mexican families. He particularly emphasized the reform of the National Guard, strengthening investigative and intelligence capabilities of public security elements. Murat defended his affiliation with Morena against criticisms, ensuring that he was well received in the party and that his integration has not been challenged.
He also mentioned the approval of a new catalog of crimes that establishes preventive detention for those carrying long firearms, committing crimes with fentanyl, or affecting the energy sector. Murat underscored that those responsible for these crimes will face severe consequences to combat impunity in the country.
